Personal BiographyRod Lamberts lectures in both the undergraduate and postgraduate science communication program. He also convenes the Science Communication honours program at CPAS. Before moving to science communication, Rod's academic background was in psychology and medical anthropology. He has also been a corporate communication consultant and facilitator for over 10 years. On top of all this, Rod is CPAS's UNESCO science communication liaison for the Pacific Islands and writes a regular column for the Pacific Current Affairs magazine Tapu.
Rod supervises research student projects across a diversity of science communication topics at the Honours, Masters and PhD levels. His professional and research interests include; public awareness of mental illness, notions of expertise in science, risk and crisis perception/communication, and cross cultural communication of science and medicine.
